Each month we share our lives with people all over the world. People we may have never me, but with people we've grown a genuine bond. To learn more about the process, check out the rules at Chad's. So many places we could go today. I started off the day taking pictures of some plants in the backyard. You can see them here. Pretty, no?

So we got in the Jeep and headed northeast. We went to Index, WA!
I love the mural for the post office in Sultan.

Here we are in Index. The water was sooooo clear.

The mountain peaks actually look painfully sharp! Don't touch them!!!!

Here's the bridge over the Skycomish that took us to Index, a city that sleeps til noon.

A strange custom in Index is lawn rafting. They seem to be having a lot of fun as the drink on their beached rafts. I just don't get it.

So this tree dies. A fern moves in. Then a few other ferns crash the party and life begins anew.

This tiny chapel is quite famous. Check it out.


Matt forced me to go to the Reptile Zoo. I didn't want to go...and I have proof.
