It was another gorgeous day in Seattle. We've gone over 20 days without any measurable rain!!!
I have a chip in my windshield. This makes me really sad.
(Click the picture for actual size.)

I saw this church steeple on my way home from work. I see Mother Nature is catching up.

You may remember last month's photo of my tank running on empty and me forgetting my wallet. I have also taken fellow 12-of12er Hibe's advice of keeping $20 in the glove box. A great idea as I don't own any gloves.

The Space Needle, a frequent guest on my 12 of 12's, trying in vain to hide behind some power lines.

I love the Seattle Arboretum. The next four pix were taken there.
This bridge is simply gorgeous. Please note, the maximum height is 9'0". Your school bus, which is much taller will not pass unharmed...no matter how much beer you drink.

Shall we swing?

Let's have a ball.

How much wood would a dogwood would if a dogwood would dog wood?

Finally home, I was greeted by a poppy. That will make me sleep.

My neighbor has a lavender garden. Smells wonderful.

It was a tough day. And though I felt better driving through the Arboretum, Stella made me feel better.

Martha Wash geraniums.

Stoli is such a camera whore. So poseable and photogenic.

The love of my life gets a kiss from Kitty. The world is okay.

Haven't done a 12 of 12 yet? There will be another 12th next month! I hope to see yours.
Make sure you check out Helen's and Sunny's posts, they are such artists!

23 Your thoughts???:
Are the geraniums named for Martha Wash of It's Raining Men fame?
Nice photos. Thx for sharing.
Cheers
Hey Scott, Stella does indeed make absolutely everything better :)
Here's hoping it's at least another 20 days before Seattle gets any more rain too!
We (in Denver) must be getting your rain. Stella is always a good way to end the day.
I miss living in Seattle. Unfortunately I have a LOT of rock chips in my windshield. SOOO frustrating.
Thank you for your lovely comment in my blog!
Your 12 of 12 are also really worth seeing!
I must agree: the broken windscreen is sad - but the photo is great!! ;-)
Have a good day!
Britta
Lovely 12 of 12! Stella and sharing the end of the day with the love of your life makes everything better doesn't it?
I'm a friend of Helen so I can thoroughly recommend checking her blog out too!
Thanks for sharing your day.
THERE'S the dogs. You need to have a chat with hubby about not including any in his this year.
I've got a crack in my windshield -- I'm really annoyed because I just replaced it two years ago for the same reason. I didn't remember any rocks, tho -- now I'm told it's because of the heat?! How unfair!!
Maybe Stella needs to come visit me and cheer me up...
a pleasant journey into someone else's day, as always!! i might attempt a 12 of 12 next month, who knows. i do find the idea enticing.
thanx 4 this today!!
:)~
Thank you for visiting again and again! Sorry, but I love your photograph of the crack, looks like an extraterrestrial insect and it's really artistic!!! and as a treelover I'd love to see the arboretum. The lavender you showed is not the real and fragrant lavender (to heal and calm you), the essential oil of it is even slightly poisonous!!! But the plant looks gorgeous, like little butterflies sitting on top of the flowers.
love these pics! beautiful....
Hey Scooter! I love your photos and especially the green foliage. It's such a nice change of scenery because all I see is brown and army green here in AZ - blah! Nice 12 of 12! Also, thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. : )
Hey Scooter!
Love your 12's! Twenty days with no rain?!? That's like a record or something isn't it? ;) I forgot how beautiful WA is, I haven't been back for 26 years! OMG! It's been that long!
Thanks for sharing :)
Stella... an excellent choice. Got to love the flower pics. love the needle and the lines too. Never seen a geranium so full of blooms. Never seen that particular color either, but I've been out of that end of the business for quite some time.
Your post was wonderful! Such nice, happy shots. Made me smile all the way through. Thanks for the nice comments you always make, and thanks for the mention in your post. I'm truly honored. See you next month....my last in Arkansas!
I love the Dogwood and flower pictures. I miss seeing some of that in Arizona. Thanks!

Wow, Stoli and Kitty make an appearance! I was struggling to remember their names as I just finished reading Matt's 12 - proof it's been too long since we saw them. Give them all a hug for me!
And it must be nice and calming to drive through the arboretum, then come home to welcoming pets, partner and beer - yay!
Thanks for the shout out and the comment as always! [hug]
Stella and Stoli are my favorites!
oh, in the pictures too.
Lovely looking dogs and they match the carpet and the Martha Walsh geraniums. I'm always getting chips in my wind screen too and about two months ago I filled up with fuel and drove off without paying, "My mind was in a wander" I told the sales assistant when I called back to pay, it wasn't, I'd forgot my wallet.
I look forward to the day when your 12 of 12 catches a bus stuck under that bridge!
Great pics! Sorry about the crack in your windshield, but it makes an interesting photo. I thought maybe it was a bug at first, then read the description!
Martha Wash geraniums... FUCKING HILARIOUS!
Gorgeous dog, gorgeous flowers, gorgeous kisses!
Great 12! Sorry to be late commenting this month, I've been away.
The chipped windscreen pic is interesting - I'm not sure if I would have known what it was if you hadn't said it.
