Special...Even in High School
"This looked better when I did it in the backyard."

"See how my eyes follow you?"

"I'm too sexy for my cat."

"I'm his cat."

"So am I"

"I want a Scoobie Treat, too"

"The four best years in my life were in the 10th grade."

"Be honest, do you like my weight-and-see look?"

"I heard there were orcs..."

Both hoped the baby was theirs

"I'm still not sure where my career will take me. The clergy or a congressional page."

Happy Birthday, Amy Sedaris!
Today is the birthday of comedic goddess Amy Sedaris.
Whether she's making the rounds on the talk shows, such as Dave Letterman, Chelsea Handler, Jimmy Kimmel, or Martha Stewart, this woman always makes me laugh.
Her appearance The Colbert Report was brilliant!
I must admit, I didn't see "Gym Teacher, The Movie." Nevertheless, this scene cracks me up.
"Story Time with Miss Amy"

If you've never seen her "Pig Lady" watch this. Her NSFW character is at 3:34.

Happy Birthday, Diana Ross
Today is Diana's birthday.
May she stay "Forever Young"
I Want to Be Bad
And though I don't usually care much for fan videos, this one is Supreme.
Diana has always had the power to make you fell she was singing only for you...But I actually had that honor. Miss Ross sat on my lap and sang an entire ballad to me. Okay, I admit it, I was totally star-struck. This siren had the most beautiful eyes. As she played with my hair, my friends said they actually heard me purr.

March's 12 of 12
Thursday was the 12th of the month. That is when we celebrate Chad Darnell's 12 of 12, where bloggers all over the world share their day with pictures. For more details and to send healing prayers, visit Chad's site. Many of the participants, like Helen, are incredible artists.
My day, as usual, started with a romp around the yard. It was REALLY cold...just a little below freezing (yes, that's cold for Seattle). I came across this giant print in the permafrost. "What could make such a large print?" you ask. The answer can be found in this post. Hint, it's not Angela Lansbury.

Spring is nearly here. The grape hyacinth are poking up. This started earlier last month. But the weather was so crappy, they went back down and decided to wait.

The camera was between Kali, The Puppy-Goddess of Destruction and her throw toy. A dangerous place to be.

Matt brought in some forsythias to force bloom. Ain't they purty?

Milk and plumeria.

On my way to work...I stopped to admire the crocus and the noseless penguins.

This is Spot, the axolotl. We got him when he was less than an inch long. Now he's nearly four inches. His brother, Rex, is nearly six inches long. We can't keep them in the same tank as axolotls can be quite voracious and will attack each other often ripping each other's limbs off. The amazing things about axolotls, they can regrow organs and appendages. That's right, they never need to go to second-hand stores.

As I was driving to work, I took this picture from the Ship Canal Bridge.

Cops often hide behind the lovely "Apple Maggot" sign...so beware this speed trap!!!

I'm approaching my exit for work. It sure is a gorgeous day.

No kidding.

Dinnertime. Guess where I went.

This month's bonus theme was "Disturbing"
Have you seen this video of Angela Lansbury???

If you've never joined in on the 12 of 12 fun, give it a try! It's a lot of fun and I'd love to share your day.
